Job Title: Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the production processes. You will be deeply involved in in-process quality control across various stages including CNC machining, injection molding, anodizing, assembly, and testing processes. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements and ensure error-free measurement systems and product performance. The role requires a blend of technical knowledge, quality control expertise, and the ability to lead and guide teams.

Key Responsibilities:

In-Process Quality Control:

• Oversee and monitor quality control processes for CNC machining, injection molding, anodizing, assembly, and testing.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards at each stage of the production process, preventing any defects from moving to the next phase.

Measurement Systems:

• Ensure the use of precise and error-free measurement equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Equators, Optical Measurement Machines (OMM), and Automated Inspection Equipment.
• Regularly calibrate and verify the accuracy of measurement systems to ensure consistency and reliability.

Cosmetic Performance Monitoring:

• Monitor and control the cosmetic appearance of products, ensuring that all items meet the required aesthetic standards.
• Identify and address any cosmetic defects or discrepancies in the products.

Training and Development:

• Train and guide a team of quality inspectors to ensure adherence to quality standards and proper inspection techniques.
• Foster a culture of quality within the team, ensuring continuous improvement and skill development.

Audits:

• Drive and conduct internal process and product audits to assess the effectiveness of current quality control processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and customer requirements.

Continual Improvement:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for continuous improvement in product and process quality.
• Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall quality of products and processes through systematic problem-solving techniques and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Qualifications:

• B.E., (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics /Mechatronics) with 3~5 Years of Experience
• Diploma in (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics /Mechatronics), with 5~8 Years of Experience

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarity with Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Statistical Quality Control (SQC), and other Quality Control/Assurance (QC/QA) practices.
• Extensive exposure to manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, injection molding, anodizing, laser welding, and assembly.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve quality issues effectively.
• Understanding of quality management systems and standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in statistical analysis using software tools such as JMP or Minitab.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent training in process improvement methodologies.
