Purpose

Understands customer DFM (design for manufacturing) and Executes the DOE (Design of experiment) basis customer requirement.

Key Responsibility

• Understands customer DFM (design for manufacturing)
• Studies and understands product design
• Executes the DOE (Design of experiment) basis customer requirement
• Ensures execution of process parameter controls by maintenance team
• Ensures child parts and consumables availability
• Ensures fixture readiness (specific to ME process planning)
• Defines appropriate station setup (specific to ME process planning)
• Coordinates for PQ (process quality) sign-off with quality team
• Conducts product ORT (on-going reliability test) in collaboration with the quality team
• Monitors CP (process capability) & CPK (process capability index)
• Monitor cosmetic and dimension yield performance
• Identifies root cause using problem solving tools such as 7QC, Fishbone,Why-Why
• Implements corrective and preventive action
• Conducts failure analysis
