Ensure availability of Plant as per AOP to achieve desired through put and product quality by:

• Managing Operation and Maintenance of Conveyor Belting System, Vibratory Screens, Crushers/Impactors, apron feeder, tripper, pumping system etc
• Implement Maintenance system and set of procedures for all activities related to maintenance
• Daily Analysis of delays and take necessary actions to upkeep performance of all KPI of the section.
• Improve shift performance
• Compliance of Annual Maintenance Plan
• Spares planning & Management
• Improve MTBF and reduce MTTR
• Manage history of data and its analysis

Compliance to safety norms

• Implementation of Safety Excellence Management System and Contractor Safety Management Standard
• Maintain and improve safe working condition in the related area.
• Build and monitor systems to mitigate the hazards and risk involved in the process.
• Prepare SOPs for the related areas and its compliance
• Improve plant housekeeping
• Conduct communication meeting like tool box meeting, departmental communication meeting etc on regular basis.

Improvement of skill and knowledge of people

• Involve and train people on TQM and ‘Continuous Improvement’ philosophy.
• Knowledge of TQM

Improvement initiatives –

• Involvement of shop floor employees in continuous improvement like Self -Initiated Projects, Small Group activity, Suggestion Management, Knowledge Management

Skills

Maximize up time of all the assigned Plant / Equipment’s at optimum cost ensuring safety and maintenance quality.

Maintenance of mechanical facilities in wash plant and crushing plant.

To meet Safety, Cost, Quality and throughput targets as per ABP.

To drive improvement activities in own area as per plan.

Compliance to all statutory and legal requirements, IMS Standards and the safety standards laid by Tata Steel

Minimum Qualification

Full time B.Tech / B.E Degree in Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical from AICTE recognized college or UGC Approved Universities
