Skill and Competancy requirements-
1. Good knowledge of suspension parts such as McPherson strut, twist beam, Wheel end, tyres,
bear
ing, axle etc
2. Good knowledge of one software, preferably CREO and also good exposure to mechanism
generation methods
3. Good in d
esign and spring calculations involved for part design & system design such as stiffness and roll
calculations
4. Knowledge of stren
gth of materials
5. Exposure to different types of suspension such as Mcpherson strut, twist beam, multilink, semi
trailing arm etc
6. Sufficient nowledge of GD and T
7. Sufficient knowledge of BM vehicles suspension system
8. Should ensure PAT targets related to
suspension and wheel end systems
9. Should ensure design rules/ desing guidelines
10. Should participate in DFMEA and other programs
to improve the design
11. Should generate various weight and cost reduction ideas and implement them
12. Should resolve warranty is
sues, quality issues and field issues in real time
13. Should get patents / copyrights for the company
14. Actively participate in J
