Working within the Vietnam Launch team responsible for specific EE dis cipline- PWT, Chassis, ADAS, HV, Body electronics, Infotainment Systems and the delivery of the associated key quality metrics ??EUR?? A nalyse customer data within IQM, FMS and AIMs in a timely manner, to deliver sufficiency plans, understand key projects and deliver the external metrics of R/1000, A/1000, TGW and JD Power.??EUR?? Lead key work-streams with suppliers to develop engineering changes to t he product, managing the complete workload from customer symptom to engineering release. This includes tooling costing and feasibility assessments, manufacturing feasibility, engineering validation through line trails and testing, and overall business case justification.??EUR?? Support problem solving & issue identification during pre-production builds??EUR?? Implement s, in process containments & rework instructions as required to support product launch??EUR?? Attend and contribute to Build Planning Meetings -including, RIS, IPC, FMS, OTG, startup, washup, 5F, parts, WCPA.??EUR?? Collect and provide data for senior reveiws, including IQM, EPC, LMM??EUR?? Work with launc h teams to take-over new vehicle introduction.??EUR?? Provide data for and attend daily High Hurts reviews. ??EUR?? Collate and present data f or vehicle quality and integrity meeting programme specifications.??EUR?? Lead management of critical torque data gathering via control p lans and attribute checks.??EUR?? Champion component engineers to ensure quality resolutions of all build related issues.??EUR?? Recording and presenting Prototype deliverables to Senior Management.??EUR?? Leading Concern and Countermeasure daily reviews, for introduction of run ning changes.??EUR?? Provide leadership and support for the whole team including Engineers to resolve significant technical issues whilst balancing other business factors.??EUR?? Liaise with Manufacturing facility teams, Site Services and external contractors. ??EUR?? Raise and maintain relevant build related AIMS, and help drive robust closure actions??EUR?? Support WCPA feedback sessions, and liaise with compon ent engineers to drive PCA, and ensure that containment is in place quickly.Knowledge / ExperienceYou will need to have a prov en track record of interfacing with Manufacturing and Engineering on quality issues. The successful applicant should have the capab ility to drive and motivate the team to achieve results and continually implement process improvements. They must be self-motivated to achieve deadlines and be pro-active in anticipating and preventing any build stopping issues, whilst ensuring that the quality of the product is not compromised by achieving the timing plan. In addition, the applicant should have the following qualifications and experience:??EUR?? You will need to be a multi-skilled electrical/electronics engineer, with experience of working in multi discipline engineering teams, experience of automotive product design, complex systems integration and the use of advanced technologies.??EUR?? You will keep regular communication with part or sub-system suppliers to ensure complete, fault free delivery at agreed milestones, with required documentation.??EUR?? Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector in passenger car application??,?,,s, although othe r sectors are of interest. The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision when necessary to deliver key objectives.??EUR?? E xperienced in ADAS systems ??EUR?? Knowledge of different Automotive sub systems preferred including Powertrain, Security & Body Electron ics, Safety & Active Safety, Driver Controls & Interaction, Infotainment??EUR?? Knowledge of working with a range of On-Car communication systems (CAN, Ethernet, Lin, Flexray) & associated Development tools to verify network signals??EUR?? Experience of prototype ideally pr oduction vehicle builds and managing issue resolution??EUR?? Prior Experience and specialist in working on Subsystems and Components such as Diagnostics, Infotainment etc.??EUR?? You will be degree educated or significant equivalent experience or qualifications. ??EUR?? Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues as they arise, a record of proactive delivery and commitment to meeting deadlines and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.??EUR?? Knowledge of change control, product definition and change ma nagement processes will also prove invaluable.??EUR?? Proven ability to influence and/or manage people. Good communication skills & netwo rking with PD functions, suppliers, plant & PVT is essential??EUR?? Conversant with GSPAS, APT, AIMS, Digibuck & GPIRS Bills of Material – Essential.??EUR?? Good understanding of PCS – Desirable.??EUR?? Knowledge of manufacturing plant processes (Desirable)??EUR?? Previous experience of vehicle launches or PVT (Desirable)??EUR?? Knowledge of JLR quality data systems, including AWS, PAWS, CQI and JD Powers.
