Job Description- 3D Engineering- Team Member

Requirement Brief: – Team Member3 to 6 years’ experience in digitization and detail e ngineering of Steel plant or Oil and Gas or Pharmaceutical or Gas powerplant.

This requirement is on three different tools.

1) Autod esk Plant 3D (P3D),

2.) Revit Structures, and

3.) Inventor Auto desk Plant 3D:

Existing Working experience on Plant 3D. Minimu m 3 years

Knowledge on P&ID

Knowledge on Piping layout• Knowledge on equipment layout

Selection of type of supports

Support modeling

Equipment modeling• Extraction of isometrics in plant 3D

GA Drawings

Knowledge on ASME, API, standards.

Knowledge on Piping materialsâ

BOM Generation

Review in Navisworks Revit Structures:

Present Working experience on Revit Structures. Minimum 3 years• Ability to read the design drawings and generate a 3D model in Revit

Understanding the details from the design drawings and able to create a layout Drawings out of it.

Ability to quality check the 3D model against design drawings

Able to c reate shop drawings which includes floor plans, sections, elevations, reflected ceiling plan, foundation plans, details, isometric view, etc. along with schedules, quantities from 3D model.

Ability to perform various Quality Checks to validate models for things like Ensure checking of all design output and coordination (Interface) between other disciplines;

Knowledge of Navisworks and C lash Test Report Preparation

Revit family creation and modification as per requirement

Ensures accuracy and quality of disciplin e model information, presentation, and coordination.

Miscellaneous Support modeling

Etraction Markup drawingsInventor 3D:

Present Working experience on Inventor, Minimum 3 years.

Knowledge of detail drawings of equipment• Knowledge on various IS code • Knowledge on part modeling and assemble modeling• Knowledge on Steel Industry

Reviewing Vendor Drawings, Part Modeling Knowl edge in inventor, Sheet Metal works in Inventor,GA Drawing

Coordination with the Civil and Piping. Basic engineering design a nd calculations, Selection of material based on the application

Basic mechanical engineering,Manufacturing process knowledge,Selection of basic mechanical elements, Pneumatics, Accessories etc

Should have knowledge of materials like Mild steel/ Stainless steel etc., Awareness of structural steels like Channels, Beams, Plates, Pipes etc., & fasteners
