Job Description & Responsibility –

a) DMU preparation and review.

b) 3D routing of Wiring Harness with Electrical Properties and routing optimization.

c) 2D drawing in both CHS and Catia V5

d) Information Fitment Drawing preparation.

e) Selection of fuses, relays, connectors, wires, coverings, parking clips/clamps.

f) Knowledge to sheet Metal Design.

g) In depth Knowledge of Automotive Wiring Harness Design Standards.

h) Knowledge of Automotive Wiring Harness Manufacturing Process.

i) GD&T Knowledge.

j) Release in PLM.

k) Sound Knowledge of Auto Electrical trouble shooting.

l) Sound Knowledge of Vehicular Electrical Components.

m) Experience of Circuit Schematic Design.

n) Engineering process tools such as DFMEA, 8D, ECN, etc.

o) Knowledge of DVLO / CVLO / SVLO / SAM / 4D

p) Knowledge of Defence aggregates

Design Software Tools:

a) Experience in Catia V5 (Electrical module)

b) Experience in CHS (Logic and Xc)

c) Exposure to JT Visualization

Database Knowledge: Exposure to PLM

Additional Requirements:

a) Should be able to work in shifts.

b) Willing to relocate as required.

c) Should have good Communication and presentation skills.

Education – BE/ B Tech – Electrical / Electronics

Experience – 6 to 8 years
