Summary

The Head of Accounts & Finance would be responsible for implementing accounting systems and processes, preparing monthly financial reports, controlling the master accounting data, and ensuring compliance with the tax and local laws.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Chartered Accountant Degree from ICAI or MBA(Finance) or M.com
· Good verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English

· Preferably male (as regular outstation travel to sites shall be required )

· Mandatory 5-6 years of experience required from a reputed construction company.

· Registration with accredited statutory body and association.

· Fully conversant with Income tax laws, GST, ROC works, and other relevant laws

· Experience in Independent handling of all works and also handling a team.

Duties and responsibilities

· Manage financial systems and budgets

· Preparing and maintaining Project Finance Sheets

· Preparing and management of Contracts with clients

· Negotiate terms with vendors/suppliers and creating PO’s and Agreements

· Timely and correct Invoicing to Clients and Billing from Vendors

· Follow-up and recovery of the due payments from the clients

· Timely payments to vendors as per the agreed terms

· Review the company’s systems and Perform tests to check the same

· Provide advice on improving prevalent systems

· Advise on tax planning (within current legislation) and tax issues associated with activities being undertaken by the company

· Maintain accounting records and prepare accounts and management information

· Maintaining Cash Book and petty cash records

· Managing junior colleagues

· Liaise with internal and external auditors (where applicable), intimate the management, and deal with any notices/ financial irregularities if any as they arise

· Produce reports and recommendations following internal audits

· Prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts

· Arrange financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹550,000.00 – ₹1,000,000.00 per year
