Boeing India Engineering seeks Associate ASIC – FPGA Verification Engineer to support the Hardware Design Capabilities organization across multiple product lines and platforms like Satellites, space and aviation and to join their team in Bangalore, India .
Position Responsibilities:
Assists in Verifying the design of electronic architecture and detailed specifications for various electronic products.
Assists in verification of detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.
Conducts various methods of testing and analysis to support design.
Captures data for technical performance measures.
Assists in providing engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
Assists with trade studies and literature research to support future product design verifications.
Works under close supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
2 to 5 years of experience in Digital ASIC/FPGA Verification.
Work experience using VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog, UVM methodology.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree with 2 to 5 years’ experience in digital ASIC/FPGA verification (concurrent (DV) Verification experiences for two to five years, Master’s degree with equivalent experience in digital functional verification, or PhD degree with equivalent of experience in digital functional verification.
Experience in identifying, tracking, and providing status of technical performance metrics to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.
In depth experience in writing Universal Verification Methodology (UVM/OVM) sequences and virtual sequences and its concepts like Inheritance, Polymorphism, etc.
Experience in using Universal Verification Methodology (UVM): Experience creating drivers, monitors, predictors, and scoreboards.
Experience working with self-checking simulation test bench from scratch for SoCs/ASIC/FPGA.
Experience in verification working with internal/external VIPs, its development and evaluation with multiple vendors.
In depth understanding in SystemVerilog language and verification concepts.
Work experience using Linux or Unix terminal commands.
Experience using scripting languages: Make, Perl, Python, shell scripts, etc.
Experience using Revision Control Systems: Subversion (SVN), CVS, Git.
Good Understanding upon designing digital ASIC/FPGA architectural design documents (micro-architecture documents with timing diagrams, detailed design blocks, etc.).
Code Coverage, Functional Coverage, SVA’s (SystemVerilog Assertions)
Tools: Xcelium, VCS, Simvision/Verdi
TB scratch development
IP /SS verification is a plus

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 0-5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master with related work experience, etc.).
