Location/Division Specific Information

The BioServices and Specialty Logistics (BSL) business unit of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is the world leader in expediting drug research and delivering patient hope. We employ approximately 4,000 motivated individuals globally providing industry leading pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical solutions including clinical trial packaging, labeling, supply chain, logistics, and laboratory testing.

The Business Analyst III ensures operational changes requested are accurately crafted, reviewed and detailed for all projects. This role ensures the requested changes are fully vetted and obtainable before handing over the results to the technical review team for final analysis then development.

Brief Description 2-3 sentences

• Analyzing business processes through to defining requirements for process and system improvements that are mutually acceptable to the clients and the business.

• Conducting business due diligence on new user initiatives to ensure viability of proceeding.

• Drive/support other operational initiatives as needed.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or another technical field.

Experience

• Exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or healthcare industry experience (i.e. clinical) preferred.

• 3-5 years of broad-based business experience that includes hands on responsibilities within a major, multi-unit company; multi-national experience preferred

• Planning and managing sophisticated assignments; prioritizing and dealing with ambiguity.
