About the Division:
The Molecular Spectroscopy, the Materials & Structural Analysis Division (MSD). The products include FTIR (Mid, Near, and Far Infrared), UV-VISIBLE, Raman, NMR Spectroscopy, FTIR Microscope. These products are used in QA/QC, R&D laboratory, and Process monitoring. These products have applications in almost all market segments like Pharmaceutical, Polymer, Petrochemical, Automotive, Forensic etc.
Position Summary
This position involves undertaking the Installation, Service, Maintenance & Field upgrades of Thermo Fisher product portfolio of MSD-Molecular division with an objective to keep all instruments operational as per technical specification and to achieve customers happy!
Share experience and standard process of product services and applications with colleagues.
Accurately document field service activities, including installation report and service work report, and timely submit through the required system. Contribute to knowledge base to allow continued improvement of work efficiency and effectiveness.
Role & Responsibilities
To ensure we deliver outstanding experience to our customer by providing pro-active service support for our equipment and software.
Accept Thermo Fisher culture & methodology to achieve all service important metric.
Meet or exceed business commercial plan.
To work closely with other functions like Sales, Supply Chain, Finance etc. and ensure we meet targeted organic growth for the business.
Candidature Requirement:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electronics / E&C /Instrumentation /Biomedical
E xperience levels
More than 5 years of experience of service support on Molecular Spectroscopy instruments like FTIR, UV-Vis etc.
Skills
Candidate should be interacting and handling customers, especially in Academics and Pharma sector.
In-depth knowledge in Molecular Spectroscopy is important to handle and grow the business.
Ability to plan and ensure timely execution of PM, BD and installations will be highly important to meet customer requirement as well as meet business commercial targets.
Experience of revenue & booking forecasting to meet quarterly targets will be important.
Knowledge & experience of component level fault finding, and repair will be added advantage.
It is encouraged that candidate will have experience of handling Microsoft OS, both new & older versions.
The position requires extensive travelling and should be ready to travel in a short notice.
Employee needs learn new things from the application side of the instruments also.
