How will you make an impact?

You will be part of a team working on infrastructure management as well as improving systems reliability. Your efficient contribution will help the business and the company to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer

What will you do?

• Provide L2/L3 operational support for Windows infrastructure

• Managing the service management work queue to address customer requests within the established service level agreements

• Participating in the on-call rotation with other team member to ensure support coverage for the global windows infrastructure

• Find opportunities to improve the infrastructure by implementing the standards that have been established by the Global Systems Reliability team

• Ensure the highest possible level of server uptime and availability by proactively identifying and fixing infrastructure related problems

• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, improvements and maintenance activities

• Bringing automation to improve efficiency

How will you get here?

Education

• B.Tech/ B.E in Computer Science or equivalent required.

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in Windows Server OS Administration

• Good to have L3 Infrastructure Operational Support experience

• 2+ years’ experience with VMWare Virtualization/AWS Cloud infrastructure management

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Proficiency in Windows server Administration

• Good understanding about VMware Virtualization/Cloud technologies

• Good Exposure with Scripting and Automation

• Experience in working with geographically distributed teams

• An attitude of continuous improvement in process with security standard methodologies and cost-effectiveness

• Ability to work in a team structure, make decisions, solve problems, analyze, plan, coordinate and prioritize work

• Excellent oral and written communication skills to present technical information to both business and technology teams with clarity and precision
