Position Summary : Developer – Digital Engineering

This position will work within the DE (Digital Engineering) group to develop and implement E-Business initiatives and technical projects. The job offers a challenging career to work with enthusiastic team members on systems that interface with E-Commerce, Search Engines, Middleware, ERPs and applications on the Cloud.

Job Functions

• Delivery of complex web applications on schedule with high reliability and scalability.

• Develop workflows within Informatica PowerCenter.

• Responsible for design and development of queries within Oracle and PostGres.

• Establish integration with Apache Kafka.

• Follow design and coding standards established by Digital Engineering Excellence team.

• Produce high quality workflows, test all migrations and create solid documentation.

• Work closely with cross‐functional teams including architects, business analysts, web operations and QA in a fast‐paced environment.

• Participate in production deployment and provide production support as needed.

• Participate in performance tuning of database queries.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Must have 3 – 5 years web development experience using J2EE technologies, Web Services, XML, custom tag libraries, and annotations.

• Experience with Micro Services architecture and Sprint Framework required.

• Develop code with re-usability in mind and be fully aware of the effects of certain coding practices.

• Good exposure to design patterns, data structures and exception handling.

• Experience with distributed version control systems such as GIT, SVN or Mercurial is desirable.

• Be highly motivated to troubleshoot issues and adapt to new technologies.

• Excellent communication, team player and be willing to work in fast paced environment is essential.

Additional Skills

• Prior work experience using Hybris is highly desirable

• Working knowledge of Django, Python, Sprint Boot, Postgres preferred

• Experience with Apache Kafka is a plus

• Informatica and ETL experience desired

• SAP development experience

• Agile development experience
