Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Teams Administrator with a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience to join our IT team. As a Microsoft Teams Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Microsoft Teams environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and productivity using the Microsoft Teams platform. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for driving user adoption and enhancing the overall Teams experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage and administer the Microsoft Teams environment, including user provisioning, permissions management, and troubleshooting.
Configure and customize Microsoft Teams settings and policies to align with organizational requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and implement Teams governance, best practices, and security measures.
Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on Microsoft Teams functionality and features.
Monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams issues, addressing any technical glitches or user concerns promptly.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Microsoft Teams with other applications and services, ensuring seamless workflow and data integration.
Utilize Teams Admin Centre, OVOC (Operations and Visibility Automation Center), Polylens, Cherwell CMDB (Configuration Management Database), O365 Admin Centre, Azure AD (Active Directory), Polycom Web Configuration, and BlueCat to optimize and enhance the Microsoft Teams environment.
Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft Teams updates, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
Conduct regular audits of Microsoft Teams usage and performance, generating reports and insights for management.
Collaborate with third-party vendors for Microsoft Teams-related integrations and support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Microsoft Teams Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration, including user management, policies, and security settings.
Proficient in configuring and customizing Microsoft Teams, including channels, tabs, apps, and external integrations.
Familiarity with Teams Admin Centre, OVOC, Polylens, O365 Admin Centre, Azure AD, Polycom Web Configuration, and BlueCat.
Experience with Office 365 administration, Azure AD, and SharePoint Online.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve Microsoft Teams-related issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate, is a plus.
