• To ensure the smooth tranisition of all procurement process from enquiry to commissioning of equipment or utilisation of services
• Procurement experience mainly in Chemcial / petrochemical plant
• Knowledge on Project related procurement activities like mechancial, electrical, Inst, Structural, piping, process chemicals, civil item, etc
• Co-ordination with all inter discipline / detailed / Site teams including Finance and Commercial
• Vast Experience in procurement activities like pump, compressor, blower, turbine, Agitator, Vessel, tank, Heat exchange, column, pressure vessel, Plate, Structural Steel, Pipe & Fitting, Transformer, HT Panel, MCC, PCC, cable, Inst item, fitting, package item like turbine, blower, boiler, DG, DM plant, Cooling tower, etc
• Strong and sound knowledge on compliance of procurement management systems, internal and external audits, Statutory norms, Legal, Etc
• Knowledge on Technical Bid Evaulation, Offer comparsion and Review and Preparation of PO/WO
• Knowledge on Vendor evaulation/selection Knoweldge on SAP / System / Procedure/ Etc
• Strong and sound knowledge on commercial discussion/ Negotiation
• To ensure the trouble free procurement system to achieve the target dates
• Quality Supplier selection using suitable supplier selection process.
• Material procurement after comparing the competitor prices
• Identifying Multi sources for competent price, Quality & service
• Follow up with other involved teams to reduce the gap between various activities in procurement
• Study & analyse the delayed supplies and preventing by applying suitable solutions Identify the competent supplier for on time deliveries
• To identify and fixing the sources based on their market stability
• Procuring the material strictly based on our quality criteria
• To ensure all the procurement activities with in budget price
• To ensure purchase and stores process are as per approved SOP and maintenance of documentation
• To ensure training on sub-ordinate
• Vendor Expediting / follow up for timely delivery the material to site
