We are looking for a Business Analyst/Project Analyst who has experience with:

• Experience working on comparable systems development projects as Business Analyst or Project Manager.
• Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical/functional requirements.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with stakeholders and clients to gather requirements and develop workflows and solutions.
• Experience working on project teams and gathering requirements.
• Experience in project management, and procurement.
• Experience consulting and building relationships with various stakeholders
• Experience with wireframing and prototyping for application development
• ITIL certification would be an asset.

BA skillset:

• Works with customers and Business and Process Analysts to gather, document and analyze requirements to determine solutions.
• Creates detailed specifications for complex systems and ensures development meets the business need.
• Writing reports, specifications, and creating flowcharts.
• Analyzing information in order to reconcile conflicts, elicit requirements and distinguish solution ideas from business needs.
• Leading the testing processes.
• Conducts research into assigned area ensuring that such research takes into account developments within the field, corporate policies and practices, legislation and initiatives.
• Prepares business cases to document and support changes in budget and charges to clients.
• Conduct interviews with business and technical experts to identify and communicate issues.

PM skillset:

• Leads special projects and assignments as required.
• Determines scope of project/request assesses possible solutions, and makes recommendations, with an understanding of the “big picture”.
• Evaluating risks and predicting potential problems.
• Supports the delivery of projects through effective coordination and delivery of assigned sub-components within overall projects.
• Develops schedules and monitors progress against timelines.
• Ensures assigned project sub-components are delivered on time, within scope, budget and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements.

Additional:

• Understanding of developer needs from firsthand experience or working on developer-first products.
• Experience with UI/UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Invision etc.
• Proactively manages organizational arrangements and expenses, and manages department travel expense analysis against budget.
