Job Summary：

The Sr. Endpoint Security Engineer role is a leader in the security engineering team within Trane Technologies. The position reports to the Manager of Network Security This role supports and assists with the development and implementation of various endpoint security products. This role will work directly across multiple teams, management levels, disciplines, technologies, and business groups to enable Trane Technologies risk-based information security program.
Responsibilities:
Be the subject matter experts related to SIEM, EDR, A/V, FIM, PAM, Secure Web Gateways.
Serve as the 2nd level operator and 3rd level security engineer.
Supports enterprise level endpoint security toolsets
Splunk Exp. is desired
Support SIEM Management, Cyber Security, Threat & Vulnerability Management, Identity & Access Management, Network Operation Center, and Cloud services as needed.
Prepare project plans and associated documentation
Prepare status reports and other management metrics as needed
Accurately identify, evaluate and effectively communicate on IT Security related risks. Deliver security solutions and recommendations that resonate with the vision, strategy, and direction of the security program.
Partners closely with other technical and business areas to ensure that security is properly implemented across the enterprise.
Experience:
B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, engineering, or related discipline or other relevant field with at least 5 years of appropriate experience in IT security.
Experienced in multiple endpoint security toolsets.
Security certification such as CompTIA, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent preferred.
Capabilities:
Excellent planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Results-oriented, with demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Highly technical skillset with expert security experience is a must.
Knowledge of common regulatory and industry security related requirements
Actively engaged in the security industry; equipped with external networking relationships to maintain relevant knowledge.
