Trip101 is a dynamic travel blog based in Singapore. We’re looking for home-based freelance content writer who can join our fast-growing global team to curate fresh, original content.

We are looking for talented content writers who can:

– Produce a minimum of 5 articles per month
– Curate and produce original content

Responsibilities:

• Curate travel content for a global readership
• Research** relevant facts and details to draft informative, engaging, and inspirational articles
• Submit a minimum of 5 articles (an average of 1,000 words each) per month
• Work with editors to align the articles to company standards

Must-haves:

• Passion for writing
• Proficiency in English and excellent grammar skills
• Exceptional research skills**
• Ability to write 100% plagiarism-free content
• Ability to follow instructions independently
• Ability to adhere to company guidelines and house styles

Nice to have:
Experience in writing travel content

**Research may mean 2 things:

• write proper information on the links already provided in the article – flag to content managers if any issues with provided listings
• along with accurate writing, wherever needed, search and upload 1 image per listing (from Google or social media), and include small information like address of an attraction, opening hours, website link, if any, depending on the nature of the article.
• ensure the listings provided make sense as per the topic title e.g. for a topic like Hotels with Rooftop Pools, re-check the provided listings to ensure the hotels indeed feature rooftop pools, and not mere indoor/outdoor pools. For any mismatch noted, send a message via the Comment box to the content managers.
