Designation- Product Designer & Development

Product designers should manage the process of design & developing a product or enhancing an existing product. Typically focus on the physical craft, hardware functionality and manufacturability of a product. Incumbents should be capable of suggesting innovative & technical design solutions and play a key role in developing them. Skilled in working techniques of various materials i.e Metal, Stainless Steel, wood & leather. Candidates must be able to translate the idea into a desired flawless finished product and help visually communicate the same.

Education – Masters in Industrial Design/ Product Designer from a reputed institute

Experience- 7+ Yrs (Preferred Industry would be Metal & Leather Goods or Luxury Industry or high precision industry like automobile)

Roles and Responsibility
Integration of various crafts & techniques with deep understanding of material nuances and handling the challenges in development of the same.

Develop products in various materials i.e metal, stainless steel or leather and that evolve out of the logic of the materials and its process, besides the strict needs of function and use.

combine factors like materials and their environmental impact and fabrication and production understanding to identify new design practices and opportunities to address changes and demographic shifts of the 21st century.

Perform research on product technologies and structures to implement into product design & concepts.

Collaborating with technical and manufacturing specialists across the world.

Modify and revise existing designs to meet our vision & changing customer preferences.

Setting design requirements, based on briefs from internal teams, and getting the work done effectively from external partners.

An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious.

Experience in working with various vendors or craftsmen in creating and evolving new products.

Recommend new tools and technologies by staying abreast of the latest trends and techniques.

On Site Supervision for smooth execution of the project.
