Roles and Responsibilities

Read & understand electrical drawings of wiring harness, swithes, sensors, able to interpret SOR/SRS for eBOM & proprietary parts like BMS, power electronics, Instrument Cluster.

Explore & locate suppliers for New technology parts in the field of IOT, Battery Pack components, e Power train, connectors telematics, Navigation.

Able to locate & identify suitable sourcing options for Semiconductors, hands on experience in semiconductor procurement.

Develop parts based on Manufacturing Capability Assessment Audit Results

(new suppliers) or based on current product portfolio, data and trends of current QCD performance (for existing suppliers).

Knowledge on semiconductor parts functionality & support supplier in troubleshooting complaints from customer/OE.

Knowledge on PPAP documents & guidelines for PFD, PFMEA & CP. Conduct trials (tools & process) and prove the part & approve PPAP. Sign off AOI.

Knowledge on eBOM parts costing, generate cost break up for SMT components. Knowledge on SMT stensil and casing mold development, Experience on tool cost settlement.

Knowledge on SMT PFD, process controls and end of line testing requirements. Able to Audit suppliers & float RFQ with potential suppliers.

Finalize target cost deployment, Quality & delivery requirements with supplier and signoff, release LOI for tooling & part development.

Knowledge about APQP steps for part development, Prioritze critical BOM parts & allign the parts development with Project APQP plan.

Ramp up of parts to the desired volumes meeting QCD parameters Good Interpersonal skills, Rigour in execution, Multilingual communication skills, Inquisitive.

Knowledge on Sap and hands on experience in using SAP MM module.
