Duties

The Shipment Assistant is responsible for coordinating and facilitating importation and exportation of household and personal effects (HHE), Privately Owned Vehicles (POV), Unaccompanied Baggage (UAB), and U.S. Government equipment and supplies for the Department of State and other agencies. The position is in the General Services Office (GSO) under the supervision of the Shipment Supervisor.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum four (4) year of experience in the field of international customs, shipping, logistics, or transportation is required. (Please describe your previous and current job responsibilities in detail.)

Key Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.

4 years of experience required.(See Experience section for more details.)

Fluency in English, Hindi & Marathi is required. (See Language section)

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
