MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Unilever DevOps team deals with SAP development for Unilever SAP Platforms comprising Fusion, U2K2, Cordillera and Sirius . The R eporting and Monitoring team d eals with SAP reporting The Reporting and Monitoring Team will deals with Reporting and monitoring developments across the various functions of Supply Chain, Order to Cash, Manufacturing, Finance, Solution manager , customer development and Master data. The team is Responsible for landing analytical solutions through BW/4 HANA and master solutions through SAP MDM and Web Sphere Center

The main purpose of the Job is to deliver IT agenda focussing on reporting and monitoring needs for Integrated operations within multiple IT platforms across Unilever’s Fusion landscape. The platform delivers strategic and global IT solutions for reporting across SAP ECC and implemented Business Warehouse and master data systems. The role will focus on Analytical Reporting requirements for the Fusion landscape.

• The role is accountable for the day-to-day operational management and IT delivery of BW/4 HANA technology, the Reporting services provided through BW/4HANA across Fusion countries in line with established service levels.

• Key part of the role is to have implementations and developments associated to BW/4 HANA application delivered OTIF.

• Manage new demands for BW/4 HANA technology ensuring the changes adhere to the Release Gate Process and the CHARM process

• Accountability for service design, service operations, service introduction, continuous improvement and IT Service Management to make the deliveries on reports to business are more agile.

• Ensure where appropriate Service Acceptance Criteria are met prior to services transitioning into the live production environment. Manage the service introduction of new or enhanced services from the project demand and operational services pipeline.

• Ensure services are delivered in accordance with the agreed scope, service level agreement (SLA) and ensure the governance with the service provider is followed consistently as defined

• Acts as the high-level point of contact for services related matters, ensuring that all communications between Vendors and Unilever take place effectively, efficiently and in a timely manner

• Foster close relationships across Infrastructure Services, Geography IT, STS team, Network Services, Cloud Services and Global Platform Teams to ensure tight integration and harmonious ways of working as part of the wider operating model.

• Manages a team of service analysts (who manage service requests, issues, KPIs etc) and Application Development team responsible for Developments and Project deliveries

• Acts as the escalation point for issues or problems related to Fusion BW/4 HANA and also responsible to manage severe service disruptions

• Ensuring availability and uptime of BW/4 HANA is within the agreed threshold

• Ensure BAU improvements are mapped and delivered as agreed.

• Ensure that the KPIs of the services are recorded, measured, and reported

• Lead weekly/monthly Operations reviews with respective vendor partners.

• Contribute to New Innovation items impacting the BW/4HANA services to ensure they meet user needs and are brought to full operational service and control.

• Budget Management of overall BW/4 HANA Dev Ops portfolio

Key Accountabilities

Efficient Delivery Model- Handling projects :

• Engagement with GEO_IT teams and business engagement teams for new requirements, new CRs

• Agreeing for budget and resources

• Derive plan for delivery

• Develop, test and release for testing

• Deploy to production

BAU developments including statutory

• Engagement with business engagement teams for new statutory requirements

• Agreeing for budget and resources

• Derive plan for delivery

• Develop, test and release for testing

• Deploy to production

• Resolving any BAU issues if forwarded to L4 / Development teams

Supplier & Budget Management

• Accountable for governing the implementation roadmaps and funding governance along with finance business partners

• End to end responsibility of managing the supplier contracts, resources, payment schedules and other associated activities

Platform Management

• The various IT practices like Change & Release Management, IT Security & Access Management, Performance, Data Volume Management etc. needed to deliver a stable and future ready IT platform, to be established and governed

• Supplier management to ensure that team is equipped with the right set of resources required to run the platform

• Budget management for various IT practices and innovations within Platform management like automated testing, devops practices etc to make the operations more robust

• Output of this practice should be a resilient and future ready platform for onboarding new applications and markets

Essential Skills

• ·Overall 6-8 years of experience in IT of which 4+ years of experience working on Solution Delivery, and IT Platform Management

• Strong knowledge of BW4HANA and analytical reporting

• ·Bachelor’s in engineering, Computer Science required, and Masters/MBA preferred·Experience building and managing high performing teams and design/delivery of quality project delivery and SD practices·Ability to work with multiple cultures, both within team and stakeholders

• Good domain knowledge to be able to work with Platform Directors, and global Stakeholders to ensure alignment within and outside Unilever IT organizations.

• Conversant with budgeting practices & governance
