Unilever’s Cyber Security organization is a multi-disciplinary team responsible for protecting the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of our Information and Operations. Our Cyber Security organization runs a 24×7 Security Operations Centre, oversees a robust Security Architecture and associated technology landscape, provides Cyber Security Solution Engineering and Risk Advisory to our business, and assesses the security of our vast technology estate, including factories, to name but a few areas. Cyber Security sits as part of the Business Operations organisations, as a peer to Unilever’s Technology and Data functions and the broad Supply Chain agenda. Cyber Security is tasked with elevating, reporting on and influencing enterprise cyber security risk mitigation across Unilever. The CS function is made up of the Governance, Risk, Assurance, and Compliance (GRAC) team, the Tech & Ops team, the BISO teams, and the Office of the CISO.
Role Purpose:
Using a risk led, and threat informed approach, this role will manage cyber initiatives and projects across Unilever’s global organization. This role will work with teams across the wider organization to deliver cyber programmes as required by Unilever’s cyber strategy and transformation journey. This will necessitate working with key stakeholders to facilitate the running of cyber programmes across the business, ensuring timely completion and expected outcomes. The team is also responsible for creating procedures and best practices to help with effective project delivery as well as confirming project compliance to Unilever delivery standards.
Role Summary:
A vacancy exists for a Finance & Budget Lead within Unilever’s Cyber Security function. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Senior manager – PMO to ensure that the finance and budget for Unilever Cyber Security function is maintained and tracked effectively. They will work with key stakeholders across our organisation to facilitate finance & budget discussions for the lead team to focus on deliverables and deliver outcomes to expected timelines. This role will report to the Cyber Security Programme Manager in the Office of the CISO.
This role will support the Programme manager where required and ensure the alignment of Financials to Uniops Finance
They will also work on a wide range of complex projects (both finance management and embedding process), managing end to end finances and budget including tracking progress to the forecasts, actuals, change control procedures and quality and risk assessments. The role will play a key part in helping Unilever effectively manage cyber risk across the global organization.
The Finance & Budget lead is expected to:• Manage end to end finance operations, planning and analysis (upto multi millions) including both (BAU and ITIB) • Work with the various workstream leads and project teams to get an appropriate view of the Financial Forecast and spend view and present a consolidated view.• Work with Uniops Finance team to arrive at monthly accurate consumptions against the forecast • Work with the Uniops Finance team to be able to represent an accurate financial forecast across the quarterly financial timelines. • Work and manage internal team members to constantly have an upto date view of the spends, and a forward view of the upcoming spends.• Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.• Work with the project team to review the Business case for the projects and provide feedback.• Work with the teams to prepare for accurals, GR’s and prepayments.
Main Accountabilities
• Ensures business processes, administration, and financial management.• Leads planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve the Cyber Security Annual budgets.• Reviews financial reports like Budget management files, Uniops Performance Dashboard on a monthly basis and discusses the financial variances with other Lead teams.• Prepares financial forecasts and reviews with the stakeholders.• Represents Cyber security in forums with Finance and project stakeholders. • Monitors financial details to ensure compliance with forecasts and allocated Budget • Assists Senior manager to make financial decisions. • Help in finding financial efficiency for the department.• Reviews and processes payments to the vendors on a monthly basis.• Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents like SOW, POs• Review the Project Business case and provide a first pass on the cost vs. benefit.• Review the SOWs and provide quality checks• Track and analyze the benefits mentioned in the business case against the Cyber Security budget • Team management of other finance team members.

Experience:
• Experience in Cyber Security.
• Experience in Finance and relevant financial certifications.

• Understanding of global best practice standards (e.g. NIST, CIS, ISO), Information Security standards and controls, and the three lines of defense model is a plus.
• Experience with accounting control procedures.
