Unison International Hiring for Unit IT In-Charge at Patna, Bihar Full Time

The position will be based at Hero Cycles (Bihta (Patna), Bihar, India) and will administratively report to Plant Head and functionally report to Chief Information Officer.

This role serves as the strategic interface between business unit and IT organization for the purpose of solution discovery, technology platform deployment, IT service & risk management, and relationship management.

Role Objective:
Collaborate with HODs & key stakeholders (in Production Planning & Control, Procurement, NPD, Export, Finance, HR functions) at unit level to ensure IT service uptime, identify process improvements and develop alignments on new automation initiatives.

Provide inputs on relevant technology (Inhouse / 3P) for selection, evaluate proposals, build business cases, plan new joint initiatives, and determine how they fit into business requirement and IT priorities.

Perform requirement gathering & functional design to assist in the development & implementation of new or revised technology for system capability enhancement.

Oversee timely delivery of IT support & services through various IT teams to ensure business service uptime.

Conduct scheduled IT services review with business stakeholders to identify & ensure improvements.

Lead change management to minimize disruption to the business and improve end user experience.

Manage IT operations at unit level as per business requirement and central IT guidelines

Deploy, maintain uptime, troubleshoot, support and standardize systems at unit level (servers, desktop, laptop, barcode reader, handheld, operating system, patch management, business application, e-mail, antivirus, IT software, Backup & Recovery, LAN, connectivity, surveillance system, DHCP, DNS).

IT Helpdesk support: call logging, monitoring & resolution of all IT internal & vendors issues.

IT asset & inventory management (create / modify / delete / move)

Planning & execution of IT awareness & education programs for IT users

Study & implement central IT policies and standard operating procedures.

Prepare, maintain & report IT Budget at unit level.

Maintain all necessary documentation and adhere to change control policies, procedures as well as any system or software development or project management lifecycle methodologies.

Vendor and relationship management: Establish effective service levels agreements with key IT partners to ensure problem resolution and delivery of new developments as per change requests within business agreed service levels.

Qualification & Experience Background

Graduate with 12+ years of experience preferably Automotive / Durable / FMCG industry. MBA IT will be an added advantage.

Techno-Functional background with domain knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Procurement functions in the organization.
