Job overview and responsibilities
The purpose of the Senior Developer IT, Mobile Applications position is to develop the continued design and development of the Customer United App. This position will collaborate extensively with our business partners to design, develop, and integrate user interfaces and services that meets the business needs. This position will have a strong focus on iOS and Android native programming skills with the ability to influence innovation within the Mobile space.
Product Delivery
Responsible for Mobile continuous improvement initiatives within the mobile channels
Collaborate with developers and business users to design, develop, and integrate user interfaces and services that meet business needs
Deliver across the entire app life cycle from concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
Possess a deep knowledge of iPhone/Android frameworks. Deliver innovative iOS/Android mobile experiences across the different functions

Understand back-end system/services to access when building out fronts for testing
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing project tasks on schedule and by interacting and mentoring junior and senior level developers
Must be adaptable to changing designs and to adding performance enhancements
Must be able to document code and implement code quality tools
Evaluate, suggest, and implement third party software as needed
Make efficient use of source control and bug tracking systems
Review estimates for software development and delivery to ensure quality and accuracy
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Mobile Tools & Architecture
Play a key role in formulating and following the procedures for test driven development
Play a key role with the adoption of the latest Mobile operating system updates
Ensure IT application development process disciplines (solution delivery, project management, work requests, QA, etc.) and standards are established, effectively managed and performed
Learn latest tools and standards within the Mobile space and mentor junior developers
Attend key mobile conferences and play a role in training the other members of the team
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications
*Required *
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience
5+ years of IT and business/industry work experience
Requires advanced technical and business knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management and other related disciplines/processes
XCODE, Objective-C, Swift, Cocoa, Java/Android, iOS SDK, Android SDK
Experience integrating with RESTful API’s and JSON
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to manage multiple priorities and work, both short and long-term, in a busy and aggressive environment
Must be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment
Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
