Primary Responsibilities:

• Worked closely with application architects to develop service and technology roadmaps

• Identify and recommend new security services and solutions

• Define cybersecurity requirements, standards, best practices, and procedures for Application Development

• Work with other Optum groups to continuously improve product implementations, integrations, and utilization

• Lead performance tuning, disaster recovery, and integration of applications with other enterprise tools

• Familiarity with cybersecurity and risk management frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 270001, CIS and OWASP to better understand corporate policies and regulatory mandates

• Communicated effectively and regularly with internal and external customers relating to Application Security issues and updates

• Experience troubleshooting complex systems, remediating issues, and taking steps to prevent recurring issues

• Understand and enforce Optum Enterprise Information Security and US based Federal and State regulatory control frameworks for Healthcare Industry on traditional and cloud computing environments

• Document Optum security standard requirements in any ongoing projects

• Own SharePoint, Teams, and confluence to keep documentation up to date

• Communicate professionally with OSGS and EIS internal teams through multiple communication methods and establish working relationships

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

• Experience in Application Security and Software Development processes

• Advance level experience in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint etc.

• Flexible to work in a USoverlap shift

• Working Knowledge and basic understanding of security processes like Vulnerability Management, Risk Management, Incident Management, Business Continuity, Security operations center, cyber defense etc.

• Knowledge on technology/software development methodologies, application security, and OWASP Top 10 guidelines

• Security knowledge on Industry standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO27001, HITRUST), and regulations (HIPAA, MARSE, IRS 1075).

• Experience in creating security documentation, processes and preparing dashboards for higher management

• Strong Listening, Communication, and Presentation Skills

• Good followup skills, detail oriented and work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least one of the following CISA, CISSP, CPISI, ISO 27001, CCSP, CCSK or any vendor security certification.

• Good project management skills
