Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyzes and investigates the user submitted tickets

• Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise

• Analysis of source systems

• Writing DB2 SQLs and performance tuning

• Creation of Unit, integration and User test cases for ETL

• Creation of documentation like Conceptual and Technical design documents

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Additional Job Information:

• Understanding of Data Models and development of ETL Mappings.

• Should be strong in Datastage, DB2

• SQL Performance tuning

• Good communication skills in order to convey designs/issues/solutions to the client and also the ability to estimate work and convey risks, issues in a timely manner

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment effectively with minimum supervision

• Proactively contribute to add value to the project

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree

• Production Support and Development experience associated with Datastage

• Good analytical ability and technically strong to drive problem till conclusion

Preferred Qualification:

• 3 – 5 years Datastage experience along with DB2, Jenkins and any scheduling tool Airflow
