ACET (Adaptive Constituent Experience Technology) is Optum Tech’s emerging enterprise call center desktop application that provides agents with a guided experience to help anticipate the constituent’s needs and resolve their inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 on-call & technical support, INC management and monitoring of ACET app

• Develop or enhance or defect fixing using Salesforce Visual Force, Apex and corresponding client-side technologies

• Integrate Salesforce code with other enterprise applications using Salesforce Integration Patterns

• Develop and promote tools and process to improve overall software development quality

• Production Incident Triage, Analysis and Troubleshooting

• Regularly monitor and review usage of the application, problem tickets, patterns to help drive teams to address root cause issues and improve the overall quality of the product

• Support production releases ensuring appropriate quality checks and controls are followed

• Develop, implement and maintain DevOps Capabilities, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices using test labs and tools

• Assist in troubleshooting production issues, identifying and fixing root causes

• Collaborate with other teams across the portfolio to assure the success of the overall program

• Assist in conducting proof of concept work to evaluate the feasibility of implementing new tools, technology and requirements

• Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing with the scrum team

• Participate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovate

• Adapt and remain effective in a fast paced, changing environment

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent experience

• 4-7 years of production support experience that includes incident triage, troubleshooting, monitoring along with developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or a similar tool

• 2-4 years of experience delivering enterprise or off-the-shelf commercial software using Java, Salesforce or similar technology stack

• Experience applying software engineering design patterns, including a strong understanding of object-oriented concepts, coding standards and practices

• Experience following Agile development practices with globally distributed teams

• Experience writing complex database SQL queries

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Web Services including SOAP, REST standards and security models, integration patterns and methods

• Proficient in using Integrated Development Tools such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio along with Source Control Systems such as git

• Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and provide innovative solutions

• Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders from management to other engineers, and present to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce development experience and certification

• Experience with nosql databases such as MongoDb

• Experience using production monitoring tools such as splunk, dynatrace

• Hands on experience using with one or more of the following platforms and tools such as Mesos, Kubernetes, Openshift, Azure, Docker

• Experience in creating or enhancing custom applications using Java, Visual Force, Apex and Lightning with integration with back end systems and services
