Job Description

We are looking for a talented video editor who can work within a professional team to develop high-quality medical and scientific animations.Your Role

• Edit the render sequence with voiceover syncing to the scene, placing onscreen text and highlighting anatomy as required

• Work closely with SMEs and production manager to complete video projects with high quality
• Ensure that assigned shots fit continuity of the sequence
• Must be a keen observer of reality with near-perfect understanding of relative scale and dimensions, especially in terms of human anatomy
• Maintain or exceed consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high quality work
• Collaboration and good communication with other members of 3D team and other departments to ensure CG elements are seamlessly incorporated into the shot
• Assist with project cleanup and archiving on an ongoing basis
• Participate in review as a team member in determining various design solutions by providing feedback to other members of the production
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
• Follow design guidelines, shot naming conventions, and other technical constraints
• Keep up to date with latest developments in editing tools and technologies
• Follow company creative head and production pipeline, proposing approaches that stimulate positive enhancements
• Ability to solve complex technical problems that occur within the environment
• Effective time-management skills, including ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions and established protocols/procedures

Your Experience

• Degree in fine arts or equivalent with a thorough understanding of anatomy, or 3+ years industry experience specializing in editing
• Extensive knowledge of current editing software such as Adobe After Effects
• Knowledge of other softwares, including Photoshop

• Strong leadership skills with specific experience managing product priorities, setting delivery expectations, and delivering software enhancements on schedule
