Mission

Responsible for Design and CAD support for E-Axle Design and development

Scope & Responsibilities

• Awareness in system integration – integration of Motor, Inverter & Gearbox
• To work autonomously in Catia & NX
• To work autonomously in PLM & Teamcenter
• Defines and evaluates mechanical concepts & designs.
• Design of components inline with DFM requirements
• Design support for proto samples & Testing/Process Fixtures
• Prepare the detailed part and assembly drawings, applying GD&T to ensure proper form, fit and function
• Perform stack-up calculation (1D tolerance analysis). Knowledge in 3D stack up calculations.
• Ensure quality of the checking before delivery
• Contribute to the efficiency improvement by producing fast or automated processes
• Apply standards/methodologies for arriving at realistic design solutions
• Call for the support of experts and / or his network as needed
• Develops innovative and reliable solutions that fulfil specifications, with/under support.
• Reviews customer requirements and ensures the fulfilment in the development, with/under support.
• Secure availability of all required inputs (technical or cost front) to perform “right first time”

Education/Training

• Bachelor degree/Master degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Design Engineering.

Professional Experience

• Candidate must have 2+ years of experience in E-Axle design and development
• Should have hands-on experience in NX CAD and Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Casting, Plastics, Sheet metal)
• Good knowledge on GD&T and 1D stack-up calculation is necessary.
• Should have hands-on experience in Catia and PLM.
• Experience in automotive industry
