VALEO Hiring for System Architect at Chennai, Tamil Nadu Full Time

The Platform System Architect is responsible for system architecture design and
development of the overall system solutions and technologies in line with platform
standards, market demands, customer needs, deliverables and technology development
roadmap. You will actively participate in vision & fusion automotive ECU solutions from
advanced or RFI/RFQ phases to SOP.
We are looking for System/Product Architects to join the team to lead/support architecture
design and develop Electronic Control Unit or Domain Controller Compute Platforms for
products like Surround View System (SVS), Automated Parking System (APS), Automated
Driving System (ADS), Central Gateways/Controller System.
We would like to talk to you, if you have/are;
1. Experienced with mechatronics (Electronic and/or Embedded SW) based product
development, preferably within the ADAS/IVI automotive industry following
ASPICE process and V-model methodology.
2. Experienced with vision/fusion products and video/data processing pipelines – e.g
understanding of video capture, transmission, processing, storage, compression by
SoCs in different colour format, resolution specs.
3. Experienced with multi-core SoC and MCUs in the context of key compute cores
and peripherals as well as type and level of functionality (SW) to be hosted on
each IP available.
4. Experience or working knowledge of multiple chip technologies like Memory
(LPDDR3/4/5, NOR, NAND), Ethernet Phy/Switch, SerDes, Transceiver.
5. Experience or knowledge of various software layers and components (Drivers,
HLOS, RTOS, Middleware, Application APIs) is a plus.
6. Experienced with elicitations of product/system requirements and corresponding
system/product architecture documentations and presentations.
7. 3 years of practical experience as System Engineer, System Design Engineer,
Product Development Engineer, System / Hardware or Software Architect.
8. Degree in Electronics, Computer, Software Engineering or equivalent.
9. Agile, proactive, confident, self organised, energetic, adaptable team player.
10. Experienced in ADAS/IVI automotive industry is a plus, but open to assess
candidates from defence, aerospace or consumer electronics industries developing
vision products like Cameras, Set Top Boxes, TVs, Displays.
11. Direct relations with customers and suppliers is a plus.
12. Experienced in Automotive SPICE is a plus.
