In this important and rewarding role, the Sales Order Processing Specialist will see that sold equipment is delivered on time to the site for rigging and installation, Revenue and cost are booked, and invoices are created.
Duties & Responsibilities
Checking Purchase orders before entering the information into our SAP systems
Entering sales orders information into our SAP system.
Preparing and sending correspondence and invoices to the customers.
Coordinate backlog activities (purchase orders, delivery schedule, etc) according to contractualterms and coordinate with necessary internal resources, in order to ensure the delivery of VMS equipment to the customer site in the most efficient manner within the agreed timescales.
Coordinate and initiate the transportation of the equipment and issue all the necessary shipping documents.
Full responsibility for sales orders to comply with VMS procedures andfacilitate the HQ approval process.
Control and approve company external suppliers and subcontractors invoices.
Qualifications, Skills , Experience & Attributes :
ESSENTIAL (minimum requirements, for interview) :
Commercial school degree or equivalent.
Strong experience gained by work experience in sales support; processing orders, administration or similar roles.
Good planning and organization skills.
4-5 years of xperience in a customer focused role.
Preferable experience in project coordination activities (orders: from order receipt to delivery / acceptance)
Fluent in English any other language welcomed
Good team player, open minded and initiative.
DESIRABLE (not essential, but highly advantageous) :
Knowledge/ Experience with MS Office Applications and SAP.
Good prioritization skills.
Pro-Active working attitude.
Flexible approach to work.
