Vericle is a Health IT and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) service company. We are looking for a full-time Medical Billing Analyst to provide billing analysis and problem-solving support for our client account managers, monitor the quality, and improve the billing process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help Vericle to achieve the best billing service standards by bridging between Vericle IT and Vericle account management organizations
- Provide problem-solving expertise
- analyze client billing process, discover provider account level problems, develop effective solutions
- Interpret billing requirements/changes issued by payers
- build an effective billing error resolution process
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years experience in medical billing field
- Problem-solving skills and creativity
- Commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and teamwork
- Understanding of insurance guidelines including private insurance carriers, Medicare and Medicaid
- Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to communicate and resolve issues with insurance carriers
- Ability to research policies and identify discrepancies
- Experience with Vericle software is a plus
MUST HAVE:
- High comfort level working on the Eastern Time Zone/US Shift
- Stable internet connection and Hotspot backup
- Laptop/Desktop of at least 8 GB
- Two monitors
- Headset
- Video Camera
