Assoc Customer Service Specialist – Order Management

Job Description

We are a Global Team specifically dedicated to supporting NetBackup, Appliance, Cloud, Consumption and new business models who are enabled to receive requests, process purchase orders, create entitlements, change entitlements, ensure fulfillment of requests and deliver billing to our direct Customers and Distribution Partners. This team handles all questions, queries and billing disputes pertaining to NetBackup, Appliance, Cloud, Consumption and new business models from internal Teams such as Sales, Sales Operations and Engineering Teams as well as directly from Customers or Partners.

We have an opportunity for a Assoc Customer Service Specialist – Order Management to join this team. The ideal person will work alongside our Process and Capability Leads and Team Supervisor. This role calls for a process-oriented person with a proven track record in delivering high quality results in process improvement and query management both in writing and verbally over the phone. A strong aptitude for working with numbers is desirable as the role requires detailed customer investigations into billing disputes. We are looking for someone keen on learning and developing their skills to further their knowledge in new and exciting.

What you will be doing?

• Execute against Order to Cash (O2C) documented processes and Veritas policies
• Focused on monitoring daily workload reports and helping Vendor team with any complex queries
• Validate purchase order information and process a high volume of requests in Oracle ERP system
• Assist partners and customers to resolve a wide range of questions, queries and issues
• Manage the returns and cancellations process if required
• Ensure a smooth flow of communication with internal departments that O2C work directly with such as Sales & Sales Operations Team
• Provide timely updates to partners and customers on orders and delivery
• Support month end and Quarter end close
• Work closely with Supply Chain team to execute Appliance orders on timely manner
• Contribute to development of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), testing scripts and perform testing for new product and proposed changes
• Document process / SOP for all the changes which are executed
• Develop in-depth knowledge on new business order booking process

What qualifications you need to succeed in this role?

• 5-7 years of Experience working with Oracle ERP (preferably Oracle R12) desirable
• Previous Experience working with Salesforce CRM or equivalent case management system is desirable
• Knowledge of Cloud/ SAAS business models and experience with subscription billing and consumption (usage-based) models desirable
• Previous experience handling English queries
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and with a high degree of professionalism
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio)
• Fundamental understanding of computers and processes
• Open for all the shifts (Including Night Shift)
• Adaptability to Change

• Strong written and verbal Communication Skills
• Individual Performance Management including a proven record of delivering quality service

• Graduate or MBA with equivalent experience
