What you’ll be doing…

The work you’ll be doing will support mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building world class solutions. Under the mentorship of senior applications staff, you will work as a team member on various projects to develop, implement and maintain this important application.

• Developing highly efficient and reliable applications with front-end and backend technologies keeping security in mind.

• Executing full software development life cycle (SDLC) – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support.

• Ensuring the application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the plan to meet release timelines.

• Acting independently, at the same time displaying excellent collaboration within and between various teams.

• Understanding the domain knowledge and adapting to an agile environment.

• Building reusable code and libraries for future use in front-end and back-end technologies.

• Fullstack Developer responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment

• Work with development teams and product managers to build software solutions/web applications

• Build the front-end of applications through appealing Visual Design

• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

• Work effectively in collaboration with other teams /partners and other support functions when required with continuous focus on improving applications

• This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

• Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

• One or more years of relevant work experience.

• Experience in Developing Web applications using JAVA/React Frameworks.

• Experience in CSS, HTML5, Bootstrap and writing cross-browser compatible code.

• One or more years of strong hands on experience building responsive rich UIs using various frontend frameworks and libraries such as Jquery,React etc.

• Knowledge of Java, Spring boot or Node.JS and frameworks available for it (e.g. Express, Nx)

• Good experience in any of the Database languages (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo) to focus on automating SA activities.

Even better if you have:

• Knowledge of AWS Services (EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, Cloud Formation) or equivalent in Azure, OCI, OpenStack or Google Cloud.

• Exposure to DevOps/CICD model.

• Experience in Agile methodologies & usage of Scrum Tools : JIRA, Jenkins, GitLab etc.
