What you’ll be doing…

You will be the go to person when it comes to major development activities on Verizon.com ordering application. Verizon.com portal provides best in class digital shopping experience and self service capabilities to customers. As part of digital sales application development team, you will do the following activities.

• Develop new/existing enterprise software application primarily using React.js/Spring 5 reactive in partnership with business analysts and technical architects.

• Build reusable components and libraries for future use.

• Review / analyze requirements. Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.

• Upgrade existing software as the user organization’s needs change.

• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers. Ensure to improve performance of the application on an ongoing basis.

• Perform unit testing using relevant tools.

• Validate the code against Security vulnerabilities and Code quality.

• Involve in all phases of the development cycle and analyze gaps on an ongoing basis.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or four or more years of work experience.

• Four or more years of relevant work experience.

• Four or more years of development experience in building and deploying web and mobile-based product, software design and development in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

• Three or more years of experience in ReactJs, Redux with expertise in functional programming and design patterns using Javascript.

• Two or more years of Working knowledge on HTML 5, CSS, JQuery/JavaScript with experience of Building Rich GUI, reactive pages and single page application.

• One or more years of experience in creating RESTful services using Spring Microservices or NodeJS.

• Familiarity of writing unit test case and automate the incremental test cases.

• Knowledge on coding standards, code analyze tools, hands on fixing security vulnerability issues

• Knowledge on business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

  Even better if you have:

• Certification in relevant technologies.

• Knowledge of Spring Boot/ Spring Reactive Services.

• Knowledge Cloud, Application Security, and Agile development.

• Excellent quantitative, written, and oral communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet critical deadlines.
