Visa Hiring for Sr. Systems Engineer – SharePoint at Bangalore, India Full Time

This position is an individual contributor role based in our growing Bengaluru office.  The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in maintaining and building solutions in SharePoint development and Administration. A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering, a preference with development experience with Object Oriented Languages. Collaboration Technologies team members wear multiple hats and are expected to work across our entire technology stack.  While this role will focus Bot development the ideal candidate will have a strong interest in learning new technologies and will draw on a strong technical foundation to be able to deliver enterprise solutions for our team, regardless of technology.  * Perform SharePoint migrations (using tools such as ShareGate, AvePoint, PowerShell, Mover, etc.) content from cloud platforms (e.g., from Dropbox, Google Drive, Office 365) to Office 365 SharePoint Online and OneDrive. * Troubleshoot migration issues related to source and Office 365 connectivity, APIs, security, DLP policies, throttling. * Analyze and document migration results. * Collaborate with team to change and improve migration processes. * Communicate with content owners on migration status and issues. Work with content owners to resolve issues. * Document processes and common errors and resolutions. * Write workflows (Power Automate) to automate internal team processes. * Communicate effectively with employees, consultants, and business partners of differing levels of technical expertise. This is an on-site position. An on-site position must be consistently performed at an assigned Visa office location and require daily commute to the office location. Currently, we are in Remote setup with Voluntary work from office option until further notice from the organization. Basic Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience as a SharePoint engineer and/or architect, working with large enterprise SharePoint environments (Online and on-premises). • Be a subject matter expert on front-end SharePoint and OneDrive for Business features (site creation, document libraries, lists, versioning, security, workflows). • Experience with migration tools like Share-Gate, AvePoint, Mover, etc. • Experience managing other cloud storage platforms (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive). • Experience developing and troubleshooting Nintex Workflows and Microsoft Power Automate flows. • Solid understanding of enterprise corporate environment extending beyond the application platform to network, OS, browsers, encryption, authentication, etc. • Be detail oriented. • Understand Teams and SharePoint integrations. • Understand Office 365 Groups. • Strong conceptual and analytic thinking skills with the ability to independently drive timely resolution of complex issues. • Solid understanding of SharePoint development principles and best practices. • Ability to develop PowerShell scripts for automation.
