Engineering Transformation Leader Transforming how we interact with our vehicles to make the driving experience more enjoyable, connected and safe. 1. The Mission of this Role: To strategize and enable business growth and profitability through competency building for global software organization. To work on the future growth accounting for new skills and big market trends. To optimize processes, with their current understanding of skills, capacity and leveraging the existing talent pool. 2. Scope: Responsible for researching and understanding the workforce’s ability to deliver on the current strategy and lays the groundwork for future growth. Collaborates with internal teams to ensure alignment towards approach, methods and tools. Works to identify people/teams that can accelerate the transformation and invest in people development – capacity, capability and competency building including cost dimensions of the workforce. 3. How You Will Spend Your Days: Key Accountability a. Planning and strategy

• To design and develop talent and workforce transformation strategies, leveraging existing talent and skills. To identify future technologies and roadmap to build the capability needs of the global software organization.
• Responsible for planning and management, capability building and fresher business operation for the global software organization.
• Leads the simplification of workforce processes by adopting a Eliminate, simplify, standardize and automate approach.

• Available level of talent capabilities and the growth in all technology areas
• Projected requirements vs. current levels

b. Operations and Execution Responsible for devising an operating model, creating a resource plan, competency framework to achieve operational engineering efficiency and effectiveness (talent optimization, productivity measures, cost etc.) % of Time spent – 30% Success Measure – Improvement in productivity and Increase in utilization c. Talent Management

• Works towards developing a build, buy and borrow strategy to be the market leader to upskill/reskill employees to meet current and future technology demands.
• Enables teams/employees to successfully transition from their current state to a future state by focusing on the people aspect of change, including changes to business processes and technologies.
• Leads the competency identification and framework mapping for the new skills to meet the future growth plan.

• Time to staff people to the projects capacity
• Utilization and Number of programs/initiatives for reskilling/upskilling

d. Supply gap management

• Partners closely with engineering leaders and connects with their external networks to understand the business trends.
• Works to strategize and develop execution plans for campus deployments, forecasting and demand, gap management to meet the growing needs of the engineering business
• Responsible for conducting impact and risk analysis for the execution of the strategy and the plan.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation (Master’s preferred)
• 15+ years of relevant experience
