Business Analyst I – Worldwide Sales Support Management
Reporting to: Manager, Worldwide Sales Support Management
This candidate is responsible for performing the activities/responsibilities under Worldwide Sales Support Management in India supporting all the GEOs sales and sales operations stakeholders. An ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end Business Process & Metrics Standardization, Project Management and Benchmarking Processes. This candidate would report to the Sr. Manager/Manager/Supervisor, Worldwide Sales Support Management and perform the outlined responsibilities designated under the process he/she would support.
The team is looking for detail oriented and analytically driven individuals. This role will expand to strategically working within the Worldwide Sales Support Management. and the Sales Operations teams across GEOs. This is a multi-functional sales operations role. The ideal candidate may demonstrate experience/knowledge in CRM applications viz. SFDC, Oracle EBS, etc. This includes, but not limited to, partner management, territory management and data remediation efforts. Exposed to the areas like Software products and services sales operations, territory planning management, Exec. Level metrics representation, client relationship management, metrics analysis, etc.
Role and Responsibilities:
Half Year Quota setting
Setting of Sales Quotas for approximately +1800 rep plans on a half-year basis.
Managing Quota setting process via SharePoint application. Comp Plan entry and verification is associated with this task.
Re-evaluating Compensation Plan effectiveness on a half-year basis.
Compensation design Modeling
Keeping Compensation Design up to date at all times.
Managing Interim plan changes via CRF (Change Request Form) in Excel format.
Coordinating Compensation plans at role level with high level Senior Management to align plans by individual and role.
MBO Management
We have up to 100 individuals in the direct and Indirect Sales teams that carry a portion of their salary as an MBO (Measurable Bonus). This MBO may have up to 4 measurable elements per Quarter. These are mostly paid on a Quarterly basis
Ensuring that the MBOs are all set, working with the various Operations Managers to ensure they are appropriate and adhering to the expected requirements.
Coordinating with MBO process Owners and measure the achieved targets within the MBOs against our forecast outcome.
Reporting on actual attainment against MBOs and submitting final attainment to Commissions.
Governance Board
All Exceptions are reviewed by governance board.
Detailed Analysis, crisp reporting of the case, Co-ordination, collaborations, logical thinking and should be able to comply to the policy and demand of details in case of no sound business justifications
Present the case to the board and justify the analysis that has been conducted.

Achievement checks & Reconciliation
Performing Bookings vs Varicent reconciliation
Check Achievement and commissions calculation
Credit Filter Checks
Publishing Prelim & Final payout to region and get confirmation
Other activities & Initiatives
Stake holder Management – Setting cadence with stake holders to have the routine connect to discuss around process & policies
Suggesting, justifying and implementing new and ongoing scheduled and ad hoc reports and Dashboards – identifying trends and key drivers of metrics of Productivity and Quality analysis.
Suggesting, justifying and implementing process improvement ideas generated by team.
Ensure data confidentiality, integrity and protection of company’s intellectual property.
Requisite Skills & Experience :
5+ years of relevant experience in in Sales Compensation/ Sales finance/ business operations.
Advance Excel Skills, Macros will be added advantage
Good knowledge in MS Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and ownership
Ability to learn systems quickly with little or no guidance
Capable of working under tight and aggressive timelines.
Capable of working with Sales team / senior leaders directly.
Clear, professional, and concise communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills
Ability to take initiative and to set priorities independently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to think strategically
Must be highly motivated and flexible in order to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Flexible to working in shifts and extended working hours per business requirements
Business analysis using BI tools, SFDC Dashboards would be a plus
Knowledge in CRM and PRM applications namely SFDC, Siebel, Varicent etc would be a plus.
