Job Description

Overview: The role provides critical insight into business performance to the leadership team and sourcing category managers through reporting and analytics with a focus on indirect spend . He/she will partner closely with Sourcing Managers and the senior leadership team to provide key metrics , reporting and identifying savings opportunities. Looking for candidates who can assist in making key data-driven decisions by extracting, analysing, modelling, and reporting data, as well as KPIs, through partnership with cross-functional teams.The candidate will be required to demonstrate analytical thinking, problem solving and quantitative skills along with strong business aptitude and interpersonal skills. Roles and responsibilities: This role will play a key part in supporting the Global Strategic Sourcing team in the US, EMEA and APJ by creating, driving and executing a variety of category focused projects and initiatives.

• Report the key financial metrics to measure business performance supported by commentary and analytical insights.
• Provide visibility into drivers in performance, highlighting the areas requiring action & opportunities for improvement.
• Provide relevant and timely information to senior management
• Develop, improve and deliver forecast models to improve predictive analytics and forecast accuracy
• Consolidate and critically evaluate information from multiple sources including spend , contracts , supplier and savings data
• Perform detailed benchmarking of categories / suppliers. Determine market offerings and compare to existing services, prices, contracts etc to identify possible savings opportunities
• Build strong engagement and partnership with global stakeholders, partner teams and peers to identify actionable and high-quality outputs
• Become a true subject matter expert on Sourcing categories, with a continuous improvement focus to ensure provision of relevant & “fit for purpose” reports to support delivery of strategic initiatives
• Continually developing the reporting, modelling and analysis of the commercial business to ensure that it is providing accurate, relevant and insightful information that drives decision making
• Present analysis, findings and actionable next steps to our global sourcing team.
• Create / Present analysis and KPIs for Sourcing leadership ( Director and VP level)
• Partner closely with the Sourcing Center of Excellence team on process improvement initiatives, compliance reporting, enabling technologies, policies, and tools as well as collaborating and innovating with internal stakeholders
• Maintain the integrity of data sources used by a Sourcing organization, including validating and testing of these datasets. Drive & influence category managers to achieve quarterly targets in relevant KPIs
• Compilation of savings reports, forecasting and pipeline mgmt. for the Global sourcing team
• Drive automation of standardized reporting and develop dashboard of key metrics.
• Establish and refine procedures, systems and documentation currently in place to ensure global consistency
• Assist on other Strategic Sourcing projects as required.

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:

• Professional experience of prior financial / business analysis and modelling
• Degree in Finance, Business, Analytics or similar
• Excellent problem-solving skills, significant attention to detail
• Excellent presentation skills, high advocacy for data analytics and influencing skills
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and balance different stakeholder groups
• Solid organizational skills, including multi-tasking and time management
• Strong drive for action and results oriented
• Ability to coordinate and direct effective meetings with a variety of audiences
• Ability to think logically, plan and prioritize and meet SLAs in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Ability to handle/manage/analyze data through MS Excel
• Ability to utilize data analytics tools e.g., MS Power BI, Tableau preferred but not essential
• Industry experience in Financial Services/Supply Chain/ Sourcing is a preferred but not essential
• Project Management principles and process qualifications e.g. Six Sigma / PMI etc preferred but not essential
