WebPipl Hiring for Agronomist at Bangalore Full Time

Provide overall thematic leadership and guidance on agriculture and allied activities to different project teams
Field visits to project implementation areas
Involve and assist in the implementation of agriculture-related projects and monitoring ofthe same
Providing active technical support to various agriculture and allied activities and respondingto queries of the farmers/ project team being undertaken in different districts
Assist in preparation of rehion-based advisories and POPs (Package of Practices) for differentcrops, Fruits & vegetable.
Assist in data collection and analysis of various agricultural Interventions studies
Technical support and guidance to staff, identified farmers, SHG groups, village developmentcommittees as and when required on production systems, crop insurance,crop advisory,micro-irrigation, animal husbandry and organic cultivation
Preparation of fruites and vegetable calendar for all fruits 7 vegetable grown in the projectvillages covering all the season.
Support the conduct of trainings & development manuals
Prepare presentations and reports, produce written outputs of the implementation workand research outcomes
Document the best practices and maintaining data base
Contribute to the research on agriculture component
Perform any other team responsibilities / duties as assigned from time to timeSkills:
Agrarian science and technology skills
Knowledge of agri-food chain processes
Organization and planning capabilities
Management skills and commercial acumen
Knowledge of legislation applicable to the agricultural technology sector
Ability to prepare reports
Knowledge of/ability to use laboratory testing equipment (for chemical, physical andbiological tests)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹600,000.00 – ₹3,000,000.00 per year
