Wells Fargo Hiring for Senior Information Security Engineer (Developer) at BENGALURU, India Full Time

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking for Senior Information Security Engineer to join Cloud Security function within Cybersecurity primarily working on operational activities and support engineering specific to Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud Enterprise (Compute) product. The team member will become part of an exciting, fast paced team that helps to secure Cloud enablement as part of delivering Wells Fargo’s Digital Infrastructure Strategy Program.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain python-based scripts to automate manual deployments and processes.

• Use python libraries to call APIs, manipulate plus merge data from different sources and provide usable output in various data formats.

• Write RQL queries.

• Perform code and design reviews for peers within the organization.

• Develop unit testing scripts for deliverables.

• Analytical thinker able to resolve ongoing issues or defects.

• Strong understanding of software security best practices.

• Mentor team members to help them achieve maximum productivity.

• Responsible to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Leverage your deep expertise in automating and maintaining container defender and Tanzu Application Service (TAS) defender deployments.

• Provide professional expertise relating to resolution of application vulnerability false positive claims and guiding app teams in resolving application vulnerability issues.

• Execution against defined cloud security strategy roadmaps in alignment to cloud control framework

• Liaison to the owning technology LOB or area, cloud security program and supporting projects, Information Security (IS) focus areas, and peer teams to understand business processes and requirements and then provide security solutions design to enable risk mitigation across the enterprise

• Analyze and design controls to secure different cloud deployment and service models

• Plan and drive operational readiness and hand-off to appropriate ICS domain team

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ Years’ Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

• 5+ years with Python

• 5+ years’ experience automating tasks and writing tools in either Python, Go, or Ruby, C#

• 4+ years of RESTful web services

• 4+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScript

• 3+ years’ experience in writing queries in SQL, GraphQL and Prisma Query Language (RQL)

• 2+ years knowledge of Containers Orchestration platform (Kubernetes preferred), microservice architectures and engineering.

• 1+ year experience with major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure)

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ Years providing support to enterprise-wide platforms and directly interacting with technical and non-technical team members alike

• 2+ years’ experience in CI/CD and Automation: Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Terraform

• 1+ years core Java

• 1+ years with Golang

• 1+ years knowledge of service mesh technologies – preferred Istio

• Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Certifications.

• Agile experience.

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
