Western Digital Hiring for Analyst 2, IT Applications Testing at Bengaluru, India Full Time

QA Analyst will be responsible for creating, automating, and executing functional/regression test cases, test plans and SDLC processes, in support of new development and/or changes to the organization’s business software applications, data resources, and enterprise IT infrastructure. * Self–motivated and self-driven, continuously learning, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. * Work with business partners and development teams to gain in-depth understanding of enterprise business systems and convert complex business requirements into detailed, functional test cases. * Create functional test cases using the test management system and maintain an up-to-date Test Case Repository [TCR]. * Create and execute system test plans to ensure on-time completion of tasks per defined project plans. * Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts for functional requirements validation, integration, regression, and usability testing * Create and maintain reusable test data for automation scripts * Comply with and enforce approved QA and SDLC processes. * Understand the defect lifecycle and work with Development to prioritize and manage defects to closure, per approved SOP. * Analyze and report test results and technical findings, provide recommendations, and issue detailed reports during test cycles. * Support testing of application and environmental upgrades * Configure and maintain server and client components of the testing infrastructure. * Train business users and other assigned testers in proper test execution and use of tools. * Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfers, and support to other team members and project groups. * Zeal to be domain expert and learn new technologies * Stay current on issues involving and/or impacting leading/future technologies that affect business objectives. * Collaborate with the team on potential opportunities to automate business processes using RPA technologies (Pega, Automation Anywhere, UiPath) * Strong Experience in TOSCA Automation Testing required. * Excellent understanding of QA and testing methodologies, best practices * Experience with test data management techniques * Outstanding verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills. * Additional qualifications (optional): o Good Knowledge in Tosca Query Language, Custom controls. o Good Knowledge on TOSCA Best practices – Redundancy, Reusability and Maintainability o Good knowledge in Tosca Automation framework TBOX / Tbox modules, TCD o Certified in TOSCA (AS1, AS2) o SAP and mobile apps testing automation experience o Expertise on RPA technologies (Pega, Automation Anywhere, UiPath) All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
