Curriculum Manager – Piano/ Guitar (Advanced Grades)The Curriculum Manager will play a pivotal role in developing the world’s first global, comprehensive online live Piano/ Guitar learning curriculum. Someone who is very uncomfortable with the status quo, restless, creative and wants to change the way children learn Piano. Our vision is to redefine the way Piano is learnt and to help children become passionate about Music.Job Designation: Curriculum Manager WhiteHat Jr. is looking for an educator with a deep understanding of Piano/ Guitar Curriculum. This role involves working with the latest technology and developing the world’s finest Piano/ Guitar curriculum for children between the age of 6 to 16. The curriculum manager will focus on developing the students’ stage performance skills and creativity. This role also includes writing well-structured detailed lesson plans for the above-mentioned curriculum and training teachers on implementing the same on a large scale. It provides educators with an opportunity to share their expertise on a global scale with thousands of children and hundreds of educators.Job Profile

• Designing the world’s finest curriculum to help children become passionate about Piano and help them become more creative artists and performers

• Writing well-structured and detailed lesson plans for the above-mentioned curriculum. Each class should be a ‘wow’ experience for every student.

• Work closely with the Subject Matter Expert as well as the Storyboarder to ensure that the flow of the lesson plan is highly engaging and effective.

• Test the Lesson Plan with Students and teachers.

• Ensure Audits and user feedback for all new lesson plans and projects created and share insights with the Curriculum development team.

• Knowledge of the latest apps, tools, platforms etc. and experience of using them in instruction design is an added advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

• Excellent academic background (minimum Grade 8 in Trinity or equivalent)

• Preferred 5 years of experience in developing a Piano/ Guitar curriculum and / or teaching children for advanced grades (Grade 6 or above)

• Must have prior experience in developing a Curriculum/Lesson Plan and comfortable with composing or arranging practice pieces for advanced grades

• Should have a basic understanding of different genres such as Jazz, Bollywood, Classical and Pop

• Knowledge of latest apps, tools, platforms etc. and experience of using them in instruction design is an added advantage.
