Skills and experience:

· A Master’s degree in Accounting (M Com) or equivalent

· 2-3 years’ experience in accounting

· Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger etc.

· Knowledge of TDS, GST and filing of tax returns

· Strong written and verbal communication skills to deal with managers across the UK and Europe

· Meticulous attention to detail and methodical approach to solve problems

· Ability to work independently and in teams

· Proactive personality and international outlook

· Ability to handle invoices in foreign currencies such as GBP, EUR, USD, CHF, SEK etc.

Responsibilities:

· Responsibility for Accounts Payable

· Invoice booking, including cross-checking of supporting documents

· Process supplier invoices as per contract terms and liaise with the Accounts team to facilitate payments.

· Maintain expense records and facilitate payments

· Co-ordination with contractors based in Europe

· TDS deduction and filing

· Bank reconciliation

· Preparation of daily reports and monthly management accounts

· Use of cloud-based accounting software, e.g., Xero

Additional Information:

· Ability to work to UK times: From 2:00pm to 11:00pm IST

· Location: Kochi

· Salary: 2-3 LPA

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹200,000.00 – ₹300,000.00 per year
