Cover Supervisor (with PGCE/NQT)

Required to start ASAP

Term-Time Only – 32.5 hours per week

Band F (SCP 14 – 17) £23,484 – £24,920 FTE

Actual salary £17,846 – £18,938

Our over-subscribed school is looking to appoint an additional experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team. They will provide curriculum cover supervision for classes whose usual teacher is absent.

The school has a track record of developing Cover Supervisors who progress into mainstream teaching roles; hence these vacancies have arisen and we are looking to appoint ambitious individuals with a PGCE/NQT background who are keen to gain classroom experience as part of their career development.

Work will be set by subject leaders and you will need to focus on maintaining good behaviour for learning and keeping pupils on task. You will be expected to respond to questions and assist pupils to undertake set activities.
