Should have 7+ years of experience in medical coding.
Working knowledge in coding principles and practices including procedures and diagnoses.

Good communication and analytical skills.

A Senior Medical Coders Ideal Day At WWS
Project Management.To monitor the KPIs/variance reports and give heads up to the management and deliver against the SLAs.Coordinate between Clients and Ops team to understand the requirements and ensure that they are delivered.
Regulatory compliance. Perform all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provide all customers with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating core coding knowledge each and every day.
Review Research. Conduct code auditing and compliance audits to find process gaps and fix the issues.Plan and allocate resources to bring in the efficiencies in the processes.Also to conduct periodic reviews with the team to assess their performance levels and conduct performance appraisals.
