THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Community Developer/Administrator at Xactly Corporation, you will be a key member of the team responsible for increasing the capabilities and effectiveness of our Khoros Community platform.

You will be responsible for contributing to and implementing the Community strategy and content plans, and building the necessary structure to take our Community to the next level. You will use your technical skills and own all activities related to the creation, configuration, modification, and management of page layouts, navigation, Community structure, and the maintenance of localization of site-specific custom content. You will also assume the role of Community Administrator with ownership of duties that include, for example, user and role security, assisting customers with Community support issues, and tracking and reporting on analytics and trends in community metrics.

Success will be measured by increased customer engagement in the user community, an increase in customer self-service, higher customer satisfaction, and increased Customer Support case deflection.

THE SKILL SET:
2-4 years of development experience customizing a B2B Community

Strong HTML, CSS, SCSS, XML, FreeMarker, and LiQL skills

Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills

Excellent documentation skills

Ability to work independently

Experience working in Khoros Community product preferred
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
Be familiar with, reviewed, and have documented the current implementation of the Khoros Community

Worked with the team to start to develop a high-level plan to improve and expand existing features and functionality

Able to make simple updates and modifications within the Community

Provide assistance with ongoing Professional Services engagements to implement new features and functionality in Khoros
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Be comfortable managing updates and changes to the Khoros Community

Finalized the elements of the plan to improve and expand existing content, features, and functionality

Have implemented and documented 1-2 updated or new features and functionality within the Community
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Have made significant progress on the plan to improve and expand existing features and functionality

Improved upon key areas of the Community previously identified
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Have expanded the use and usefulness of Community as the primary Information Hub both internally and externally through implemented strategies
With implemented features and functionality, aided in:
Increase customer engagement

Improve customer satisfaction with Community

Reduce and deflect Customer Support tickets.
