It is important that you have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. We are a fast-paced company expanding rapidly, and we are seeking team members who will share our vision for the future and work together to accomplish Base8’s goals. We pride ourselves on providing superior service to our clients, which includes having attention to detail, following the processes in place, and being able to adapt to a variety of situations.We are looking for someone to own our social media efforts across multiple brands and social platforms. We’re envisioning a passionate, outgoing, extroverted individual that will help us get our name out there and get us involved in all the important conversations online and do it in professional and thoughtful way that upholds the integrity of our brand and adds value to the conversation. We want to raise brand awareness and bring in leads, and at the same time provide content and information that is genuinely helpful or has a positive impact.Your responsibilities:

• Engage and Build Audiences – Engage with audiences across multiple platforms for multiple brands, keeping the right focus and tone. Platforms we focus on: LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky. Open to engaging more on Facebook and other platforms.

• Social Content Management – Put together the social media content schedule and make sure everything gets successfully posted. Work with our content team to promote existing content and plan and request unique, new content

• Compliance Management – A few of our brands operate in a regulated industry (cannabis). You need to understand what techniques to employ to avoid our accounts getting banned.

• Influencer Marketing – Identify and engage with key influencers for our target audiences

• Social Monitoring – Report back to the rest of the marketing team on what’s popular and what people are talking about on social channels for content and targeting purposes

What we’re looking for:

• Track record of building quality audiences and engagement on social platforms

• Creative enough to suggest new, unique content, but also analytical and results-oriented enough to track, target, and achieve key metrics

• Outgoing and passionate about building online communities and using social platforms

• Experience with North American B2B marketing

• Strong understanding of our audience of North American entrepreneurs and business owners, or willingness and ability to learn – what interests them, how they like to be communicated with, etc.

• Ability to stay on top of the latest industry news

• Strong writing skills. Capable of writing in an American/North American voice.
