Qualification(s): Diploma Engineer / BE (Mech/Automobile/Industrial Automation) from Reputed college with 2-6 years of Relevant Industry

Relevant experience in Heavy Machinery, Mining Equipment and Construction Equipment spares business

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

1) Evaluate supplier proposals for cost, lead time, quality and risk, prepare Estimate and execute Orders.

2) Source the Required Parts from Qualified/New Vendors

3) Assess suppliers’ company health, performance and capability to deliver products and services

4) Assess quality of products to our expected standards and quality.

5) Negotiate pricing terms and conditions

6) Assess risk, issues and opportunities from suppliers end

7) Monitor and manage supplier performance including root cause and recovery for Escalations

8) Initiate Vendor improvement activities and integrate results into Vendor Contracts

9) Review and monitor purchase requisitions

10) Make sure the Sourcing is optimized for quality, margin and lead time.

Knowledge of Spare parts, Construction Equipment and Rock breakers

• Microsoft Excel
